the doors to Timber View. We want to thank all of our customers
for supporting us over the past several years. We really enjoy
meeting & visiting with everyone that stops in.

We invite everyone to come visit us from now through the end of

to close out all of our merchandise throughout
all four of our stores!!!

It's Summertime.. and a great time to visit Timber View!

Things are in full-swing here at Timber View! All the stores are loaded with fun items and we've already had lots of visitors.. and lots of new.. unique.. merchandise has been added this year to all the stores!

In the Gifted Cow... more items have been added to the wine decor area this year.. we have a fun selection of gourmet products including wine jams & wine cake mixes inside wine bottles. Any of our drink Mixes would be perfect for these hot summer days - Cocoa-tini, Tango-tini, Apple-me-tini, lemon or lime freezes, or an assortment of Wine Ice Stirs! We still carry a wide assortment of the compotes that have been a very popular item here at Timber View as well as some of the Olde Westport products. Be sure to check out our Cow Parade! Jewelry, scarfs and Pouchees line the counter, canvas art and wood signs hang on the walls, candles, Napa soaps, Nebraska & Husker items are just some of the other gifts that can be found..

Inside the Hen House - among the garden decor - there are loads of unique wind chimes, birdhouses, bird feeders and poke-in-the-ground yard art! There is so much to see!

The Bird Bin has been restocked with loads of unique birdhouses again...

And the Kringle Haus again has everything Christmas!!! and... we have expanded our collection of our ever-so-popular Bruskin ornaments which are one of the most unique Christmas ornaments you will find!

We invite you to gather a group of friends & plan a picnic here at Timber View. Bring your sack lunch and you are welcome to enjoy a quiet relaxing visit sitting on our Porch - or at one of the picnic tables.. Call us in advance and we'll provide the Iced Tea or Lemonade!

We will be hosting several events this Season - so be sure to check out the Events page on our WEB Site - several Country Markets, a Flea Market & a Red Hat Society Swap & Shop event are planned as well as our annual Holiday Open House in November - so there are plenty of opportunities to stop on out and spend some time at Timber View!

Wow! How time flies!!! Here it is June! Ken and I survived the winter months (barely..) and have been extremely busy this Spring here at Timber View preparing for our 2010 Season! "To Market.. to Market" we went the end of February - and did we ever find a great selection of new items to fill the stores...

New paint, new displays and new merchandise await you.. with so many new FUN items - even if you are a returning visitor - it will be like you are visiting Timber View for the first time.

The Bird Bin is well stocked with lots of new birdhouses. The Hen House has loads of garden decor including tons of new whimsical windchimes.. and there is new yard 'iron' and fun whimsical metal animals hanging out around the barnyard. Inside the Gifted Cow we have so many new items.. There is a selection of 'Cow Parade' cows this year, a huge selection of 'wine' related items, goumet goodies, lots of canvas prints, fun jewelry, scarfs & Pouchee bags and so much more! The Kringle Haus has many more decorated trees including lots of new Bruskins not carried before...

There are just too many items to mention, so hope you can stop in for a visit and see the unique items just waiting for you to discover!

We opened the doors just this past Wednesday (June 2nd) and Ken and I are looking forward to seeing everyone again this year!

Country Market (Oct. 17th) Cancelled due to abnormally cold weather!

WOW !! Just a few weeks back I commented on how the weather was changing and it appeared Fall was around the corner. Looks like we skipped Fall and are moving directly to Winter!! Burrr....

We had a wonderful turn-out for the September Country Market. A lovely day and a fun bunch of vendors made the event a great success! Unfortunately, what a difference 30 days can make.. We've decided to cancel the final Country Market (October 17th) due to the weather forecast for some fairly chilly weather! Timber View will still remain open for business on Saturday, we just won't be hosting any vendors!

That makes our Holiday Open House (November 7th & 8th) to be our final event at Timber View for the Season. We plan to have some great sales so please plan to stop out and see what fun unique gifts you can find for the Holidays!

Country Market - September 19th (10-3)

What a wonderful time of the Year! Just days after Labor Day weekend, and it already feels like Fall is in the air. Here at TIMBER VIEW we are getting ready for the September Country Market. Vendors tell me they will be bringing Fall & Holiday items along with their many other crafted items. Also the Beck's plan on returning again, so if you missed their awesome PICKLES and produce during the last market, you'll have another opportunity on Saturday! Bought some pickles at the last market? I'm guessing they are all gone (they're that good) - so come on back and restock... They give samples - yum.. be sure to try their 'hot' ones... The Market will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Weather permitting, of course. Vendors vary from Market to Market, so stop in for the September 19th AND October 17th Markets to see what unique finds you might come across. Look forward to seeing you all!

Birdhouse Takes up New Residence!

Congratulations to the winner of our Birdhouse GiveAway! Ellen N. from over near the Papillion area stopped in the other day to pick up her prize and posed for her picture with the newest addition to her landscape... Although Ellen said she may just decide to keep it inside to be enjoyed throughout the Winter. Ellen even found an adorable bird in the 'Gifted Cow' to take up residence outside the Birdhouse! Thanks to all who entered.. AND DID YOU KNOW.. We have another drawing going on at Timber View. Stop in the store and enter for your chance to win a $100 Gift Certificate to Timber View! Drawing being held November 8th - so there is still plenty of time to come on out and visit!

Perfect Day for a Country Market!

Things are coming together for our Country Market this Saturday (August 22nd). We have a fun group of vendors who are planning to showcase their goods from 10a.m. to 3pm. The weather forecast shows it will be around 80 degrees Saturday so it should be a perfect day to take a drive in the country and stop in to visit Timber View! There will be arts, crafts and even some products from the garden! I am looking forward to the very tasty spicy - as in jalepeno - pickles for sale! There are mild ones too for the less adventurous! Grab a glass of free lemonade and check out the Country Market!

Have you ever tasted this??
Well, if you haven't you're missing out.
It's like a sauce/preserve with a little kick.
I wouldn't say you'd eat it on toast... more
on a block of cream cheese and then spread
on a sesame cracker.

OR as my family just discovered...
Use the compote as salsa on cheese nachos
Yum.

Just lay some corn-chips on a microwave plate
then sprinkle (generously) with sharp shredded cheese then spoon the compote
on top of the cheese.
Microwave, on high, just long enough to melt the cheese.

A FAST great snack for all those hungry kids ... this summer.
Or party guests over for a BBQ....

I brought my camera - you know, for some sketch photos and was taking some picts. and my camera kept giving me an unusual message. Well I forgot to load my card.
